OTW scores again
Great articles this month by Charlie Soares (Danny Plugs), Got Stripers (rubber), and Joe Lyons (surfcasting), I imagine the others are good, but just read those three after checking the mail box!
Bob, hope you have plenty at the MassBass show. And nice to see they gave ledgerunner baits a mention this month.

A good time. Conveniently located in a shopping mall that would make the missus happy. Also ... food court. Lots of stuff to listen to, ogle and buy. What more could you ask for?
And, ChrisL will have his own booth. He'll be there in his Santa costume, and you can sit in his lap and take a picture.

OTW delivery
Hi Chris L,
I live just across the bay from Falmouth where OTW is published and don`t get mine early as you would guess.
I could get it faster over the counter but the cost is so much higher.

I've not got my copy yet, but I'm happy to hear part II mentioned my company name. I took inventory today and poured some baits, as I'm going to need much plastic for the 3 day RISAA show on 3/5 thru 3/7 and then the MSBA show. I'm hoping that the RISAA show will be similar and from all reports it might be, so these should be two must see shows. I'll be hooking up with Don from King Cove at that show, which will be a treat to be with a friendly face.

So far I've only read the Danny article and it has to be one of OTW's best, however it does have good company.
Anyone got an original Danny thats getting the way?

Many Are Asking....The Dates For MSBA Spring Fishing Show.
The dates are in place for the 2004 MSBA Spring Fishing Expo to be held once again at the Independence Mall in Kingston, Mass. March 26 (Friday) is the set-up day for vendors. The show days open to the public are Saturday March 27 & Sunday March 28. Details of the show, times, entertainment, etc., will be made available as soon as they are available. So put these dates in your calendar books for spring, this is and will continue to be the best fishing show in New England. So if you missed it last year, don't be a jack&^$ and make sure you make it this time.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Hey Krispy, what is your problem? Really. Don't hold back pal just let it out. Say what you gotta say. If you don't like the other writers in that "rag",why don't you do up an article, you know, a how to or share your technique etc., What's up with all the pent up hostility?

Krispy is grumpy today.
FWIW, OTW has the The Fisherman waxed and booby-trapped.
It has to be the most well-rounded (surf, inshore/offshore boat, fly, fresh/salt) regional fishing periodical in print, period.
Except for the guy who writes the Cape Cod column. He has issues.

Tunnel vision I guess. Taken as a whole, the rag has plenty more to offer than some of the not-so subtle sales pitches in the Fisherman, which is all advertising anyways...

Benny my boy, you don't know how many issues I got. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Critics, tire slashers, certain New Yorkers at Race Point in September, Manzi. two almost six foot tall good lookin' teenage daughters, an Italian Father in law who is connected and worst of all is the youngest of eight kids and the 7 before him were all girls, Striped Bass, plugs, a wife who actually expects me to do stuff around the house on weekends, Tourists, mung, an 82 year old mother who thinks my wife is her actual kid not me, two weeks off in june and two weeks off in September to fish, full moons, work, editors and deadlines, Grumpy old Pharts, eels, earthworms ugh, owning three homes two vehicles, and three boats, taxes, Mitt Romney, Stripers Forever, PETA, Provincetown, the Black Crows split up, Sluggos in Pond Shiner, Van Stal. Piping Plovers in June and July, Seals anytime, ball joints, Manzi, winter and ice fishing, three that want to own me, two that want to stone me and one says she's a friend of mine, the neighbors kid looks like me but I swear I had nothing to do with it, the 70's, and did I say Manzi? It just never ends.
