Actually, that’s not so bad to hear. Now that stripers are down almost to moratorium levels, it’s good to see that there is SOMETHING to fish for. If blues are coming back, then we’re getting almost back to where we were in the moratorium.

Back to where I was last week yesterday and It was ten fold as much bait and fish. Stripers and blues on spin and fly. Brought my wife she was blown away by the scene. Nothing of size but gets the blood flowing knowing once the speedsters find this smaller bait hang on!!!! One other boat great sunset couple dozen steamers no complaints

Can’t believe how many bluefish we’re running into the last week and a half. I keep saying how much bait and fish are around and every time I go out it’s better and better. Saw blues bass and a few schools that def weren’t of those varieties. I think starting Sunday Monday it’s gonna be onnnnnnn

Yes great fun thank Ray. and they were much bigger than ones I catch around sakonnet.. notice that's a 5 gallon bucket .. we were both hopeful for some topwater action but they never cooperated.
It was all blues until we started trolling at 5 knots with swimmers didn't need to use a diving plug , I would assume they would work , some bonita we caught a mile from the other were packed with sandeels and the other spot were on small peanut bunker but the 2 different locations they hit the same plugs ... seems match the hatch isn't as bad as with Albies

Thought that might have been you in front of 3rd beach yesterday sacrificing alby-snax ?? 10-ish maybe?
Wasn't sure so I didn't approach, there were enough boats in that circle already...
Lots of bait out there for sure...
I ran the river, that was going on all over... headed out front, nada -
|
... it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
