Wind dies down, cod season ends. Go 2020 Go! Depending on the winds I’ll fish off Marshfield or Falmouth looking for anything that swims.

My boat is done for the season.
All this spare time has led me to fix up my truck, which runs better now than when it was new.
Tomorrow I have the boy. Might go out mushroom hunting, but the drought has put so many needles and leaves on the forest floor, that I think that pastime is done for the year, as well.
Sunday hang out with the wife and Naked #^^^^&y doing something fall-related.

Putting on the new power head tomorrow ( it's amazing how fast freight can travel when they WANT to move it , Bolder Co. to Mass in less than a week) with a little luck hopefully get all the electrical and fuel system installed Saturday so I can fire it up Sunday. If that happens, maybe crack open one of my Oktoberfest's I've been aging since August.
Still tomatoes that need saucing.. and 'cukes that need pickling.
I hear ya on the pine needles .. I have a brown carpeted driveway...it's good though.. keeps the wife busy during the week so she's too tired to bug me on the weekends ( she cant stand looking at the needles and screws with them daily)

those needles along with the bumper acorn crop will make for some mighty fine deer hunting

got to spend some time in a boat on the water yesterday which reminded me why I don't go in a boat on the water on weekends....found good numbers of albies on anchovies...which was tough fishing and good for the albies as most of the nitwits didn't stand a chance unless they ran one over or hung one on of the lines they were trolling through the area...hoping for a nice cold snap so most of them will put their toys away for the winter

Removed casing and door framing to allow friend's mother to get her wheelchair into her kitchen. Still need to figure a way to get her access to the chairlift so daughters can get her in/out of the house without being carried... Hard to tell someone they are not safe in their home anymore. Hopefully I can be the bad news messenger better than her daughters...
Did that immediately after having second half of a root canal done. Left me with dull headache when the Novocain wore off, so not much else yesterday.
Harvesting my single plant "crop" today. Taking it to a friend's grow room (that I built) to see what is involved. He will do it for me there as I am not set up for the drying, humidity control...
Laying out plans for jacking up a garage to replace the sill plate starting tomorrow. If that goes well I hope to get out on boat a couple days this week...
