Yo-Zuri Mag ("Little Neck") Popper

I am going to try the Yo-Zuri Mag ("Little Neck") Popper @ 6 1/4" / 2 7/8 oz.

The hooks and split rings look strong. Anyone fish this plug? Trust or replace the split rings/trebles?

Thank you in advance.

Tight lines!

Single hooks reduce the damage to the fish and potentially you too.Just a thought.

I fish the new Yo Zuri stuff, mainly the larger Mag Darter, and I trust the hardware. I haven’t caught anything over 20#s, but the teen size fish death rolls haven’t tweaked the stocked hooks at all.

I’ve only fished the smaller version and I do change out the hooks on that one. I’ve caught some really nice fish on the little one and it casts well with the balls inside.
