overalls

I realize most of you use some kind of cold weather bibs and a warm coat but I am looking for recommendations on some cold weather overalls. I found a website Refrigiwear.com but not sure how good they are and they seem expensive. Not looking for cheap Chinese crap either.
Need to use them in the snow and very cold weather.
Thanks

I spent many years working outside all winter long framing houses in all conditions...these carhart insulated coveralls are fantastic..easy on and off.....very tough outer material. Only time i use them now is for running snowblower.

Those are good prices for what you're buying on that refrigiwear site. The biggest concern I have for any gear, ice fishing or snowblowing is that it's waterproof.

I agree on the pricing being lower than I would have expected. I was paying much more than that for extreme cold weather ski wear in the 90s..... And you aren't totally satisfied, or dissatisfied, until you are out in single digits and it's blowing >20 kts. I hate being cold. I hate cold and wet even more. So I am willing to pay more than I would like to if it will help me retain some heat.

yes thanks
I'm talking negative 20 or so
Carharts look ok
maybe I will take my chances on those refrigiwear, they are well insulated and they have a selection of gloves as well
not too worried about waterproof as the air is dry and snow not wet

You might want to check with Joe and get his input before you pull the trigger. We all know he has many hours out on the ice.....

When I worked in a foodservice freezer that was kept at 25 below zero, this is what I wore. As long as I had appropriate boots, gloves and a hat to go with it, I never got cold.
