anyone else here get the S/C license plate
it took the state a little over 2 and a half years but I got my Striped bass conservation plate just in time for Christmas...
Hopefully the additional $40 every 2 years goes for something good..

Been like 2 years waiting for the RI striper plate thru RISAA... I hope this effort didn't pass with Steve M.

It's not so much the wait, we all have been dealing with the covid related labor and supply chain stuff, but imagine if I had "their" $40 deposit or owed the state $40 for 2 1/2 years... all"s well that ends well.. it's a nice design that hopefully serves a worthy cause... $40 is a drop in the bucket IMHO compared to other monies spent in pursuit of our sport.

Ohhh, absolutely. The amazing thing is they did not raise the amount on the second year of waiting, as a Convenience Fee.

I got in pretty early and have a fairly low number, mines on a 3/4 ton truck.
I know a few guys that got impatient with the wait and backed out..

Thanks for the info, I guess I won't be holding my breath. I ordered one in August for my son and we have to keep printing out paper license plates to put on his truck - what a pain in the ass.
Plus the d-bag at the registry charged me more on the sales tax than what I actually paid - what a tool!
I haven't posted in a while, I promise my next post will be more chipper.

your probably going to be OK, they were waiting for production until they got 750 "customers" and those would get a low number.. according to them ( the registry web sight) anyone should be able to get one now.. but with covid still being used as an excuse, who knows.

That's encouraging, its going on 5 months so I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to happen.
Nice to hear someone actually received one.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!
