First Outing

Fished my usual early spring spot to get the bugs out, killer morning weather wise, foggy and calm. No clue what the water temperature was, as my depth finder decided not to run, hoping it's not a battery as it showed green on the charger on getting home. Six bass, six pickeral and I could have filled a cooler with crappie. My cold water go to, 1/8oz hair jig under a slip bobber. A massive river otter was checking me out, this puppy was huge, I've never seen one on that river or that large anywhere I've seen them before.

Good deal, should have kept those crappie, not many fish eat better than them out of cold water

I know I've had many a beer battered crappie fry, but still lots of sea bass to eat up.
