Weekend Plans

Spring has Sprung? Fish should be around and showing in RI. Which means Work.

The old RI DEM Director used to swear me up and down that the Herring waited outside Buckeye Brook until April 8th before heading up to the spawn pond.

So what's up for the weekend?

few more items on the boat list so she's ready to launch.

trip to new England marine and industrial for lobster gear, bottom paint and misc. fishing related "goodies"..
Remove the boat cover put the boat on the stands and start prepping the bottom for paint..
"If" Sunday and Monday look good I'll put a coat of bottom paint on..so I can put the boat back on the trailer Monday after work.

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Picking up a splitter rental this afternoon, have about 2-3 cord to split this weekend, so I can focus on fishing and golf. Got all the raking done weeks ago, beds are all edged as of today, trying to get as much of the yard work out of the way so I can enjoy the warmer weather coming.

Haddock trip to Jeffreys for today is cancelled, so yard work and rescheduling for next week, lacrosse and little league and cello lessons for kids...

Going to Danvers to look at a possible new truck, then trying to convince the wife this is a good idea. Sunday I'll be in the yard with my fingers in my ears so I don't have to listen to her chatter about the purchase.

Which dealership? Or private sale? Either way, Danvers is just two towns away.Whatcha getting and whatcha got to trade?

Ira Toyota has a 2017 F 350 Lariat Diesel that has my eye. looking to trade my current Diesel in, a 2012 F 350 Lariat. I have a phone call with them at 9:30 to discuss and see if its worth my time to drive there. I don't really "need" a new truck but my mileage is creeping up.
