Good morning 2.0

Headed out 0500 only to find the pogie boat hard at work. With another 8 or so boats looking for pogies (1st day of RI comm)
Did a lap of the bay looking and finding no pogies . When 20 yards in front of me a huge school slurping on top! So big of a school thought for sure they were Blues!

Threw my white Doc 3 times the weren’t interested . Happened to have a blue Mac color Sp minnow .. and they crushed it . Got 2 slot fish and 2 over bass with a 44in fat beast 40lbs at a minimum back home by 9am

Funny you mentioning them "crushing" your lures...

I was fishing the smaller white-Sebile-MS, yesterday... after landing a couple of fish, I noticed I had lost the rear trebble, being that it didn't effect the action much, I kept fishing it "as is"...
Shortly thereafter, I missed a couple of fish before noticing that I had lost both sets of trebbles....talk about the fish "Crushing" your lures!! All they left were the hook stems!! (yeah, the hooks weren't in the best of conditions)

These fish are strong and furious,...the fight gives you the impression that they're much bigger than they seem, although a 38#er was weighed boatside yesterday by someone ...(not me)

The scouts led the weigh!! but I believe the biggens are upon us or trickling in, right on schedule too...small window of opportunity, get out there!

Wayne, you gotz to find the guyz with the side-sonar, they have better luck finding the pogies....or the guys cast-netting for em', unless you're having too much fun with plastic!

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
