Massive fleet out front today

Must be 75 boats between white horse beach and Browns bank today, the schools of bunker Ray and Wayne saw yesterday along here with no action on them changed today. With binoculars I could see something on them out in front of us, planning to hit the surf after dinner, but with that much big bait out front I’m probably catching schoolies tonight.

Well,

Yesterday was a comm day, that explains most of the fleet. There has also been a huge bite in the bay on very large fish. Easy limits if you hit it right.

Kind of tells why after 1, 3 day week 18% of the quota was caught. Lets see in a few days what the second 3 days does to the quota.

Allot of big fish around, last weeks the fri sat bite of the south shore was great.

Was able to watch my son land and release a fish that I'd estimate just a biscuit shy of 50.

Watching a whale feed just off white horse beach and one stupid boater literally right on top of the action for 30 minutes and two others inside the 500 yard regulation.

Only 100 yds distance
The 500 was just for the right whales in the spring

There was a small whale breaching off rexhame and Brant rock last fri and sat

Easily can land in someone’s boat. You never know when they will do it

But for sure if the whale is concentrated in 1 spot for a while best to move a bit. Just in case.

Three boats inside that for sure and that idiot was literally three boat lengths away. Don’t know what the potential fine would be, but the only moves I saw him make were to stay on that whale.
