Christened the neighbor's newly redone pool yesterday and hope to be using it almost daily for PT through the summer.
Get out for some early morning or evening fishing. Have to look at tides and weather. All this after I punch out two relatively small, but hugely PITA jobs today. Need to put out some invoices too. Finished off the summer's major project this week. Limiting August to small jobs that will allow me to take some time to enjoy the summer and the boat.
Local social media page did a photo spread of 35 pics around Marblehead harbor last Saturday. They apparently caught me showing my fraternity brother and his wife around. (I have loaded the FSR and spray bottle in my boat bag to get that waterline cleaned up....)

Sorry John, I have the winning ticket. Golf match play against a two handicap tomorrow, luck of the draw, will need to play lights out to advance. Sunday release, water the desert early morning and maybe a few casts that evening.

Recovering from surgery on my back to remove a 6cm tumor. Upside is non-malignant. Downside is no work for 3 days and no golf or fishing for 2 weeks.
|
No boat, back in the suds.

run an errand or two, send Paul some birthday/cancer free celebration cigars, complete bath demo. Maybe start bath install, but I hear a couple of Bells Bohemian Pils calling from the fridge. And then there is Sunday.

well... quite a week. Qualified for the U.S. Senior Amateur which will be in Marion, Ma at the Kittansett Club in late August. And, won the Mens Club Championship at Plymouth CC this weekend. Those kids hit it a very long way, but persevered through for a one shot win. Will be resting on Monday

Just whale watching, or was the whale watching me? Actually fishing and the two whales pop up anywhere, one popped up closer than this shot of me someone posted on Facebook from last week.

Wow! Congrats! Please keep us up to date on the U.S. Senior dates...
I was quite young when my father told me I had to choose one or the other, because you can't do both boating and golf well.... I was competitive sailboat racing. You seem to have found a way to incorporate both in your life!

Hey NF, thanks very much. Fishing has taken a back seat the last couple years given the restricted access to our local beach/bay and lots of tournaments now that I'm retired. Hope to get the kayak on the water soon. Got Stripers seems to have it right. I live fishing vicariously through you all.
