Break out the sweatpants, time to eat to much, drink to much and watch and referee the family circus. Drive save and enjoy the holiday. Saturday after I will have 30 carvings at the Weir Family Xmas Tree farm in Kingston mass if anyone is out shopping for a tree and special gift.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It's really a great feeling to be spending it on the Cape as a full time resident and not a visitor. Having my kids come up from NJ to spend it with us, an added perk.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone back in the States. Here, it's just another Thursday.

I spent one Thanksgiving in Delhi while working. Tried to get a turkey dinner and they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

I would have enjoyed that! Even not drinking!
Have a great day all! Oven is warmed up, popover pan is out and getting greased, turkey breast is getting taken out of the brine. Just the three of us here as we are hunkered down ahead of wife's cataract surgery next week and cannot afford to get sick and push the surgery into next year... All I have to do is sneak off to make some picks so I have a little "interest" in the football games.

We've been able to find restaurants serving turkey in past years, but this year, we decided to stay home and order in pizza.
We've also done a traditional dinner in the past, but this year, my stepson is working and my stepdaughter is living in Mexico. Just too much work for the 2 of us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all
I think it was Jac Pepin who said it’s his favorite holiday, no religion, no politics, no war
Just family and friends

That’s funny, I’ve been in quite a few family thanksgiving’s over the years, many had plenty of war over politics or religion.
