Sturgeon at Pt. Judith
A guy I work with foul hooked a 100+ pound Sturgeon while fishing Pt. Judith this morning. He had no idea what he was bringing in, but it was big! 15-20 minutes of holy S%&#. When it surfaced he thought it to be a shark but as it got closer it was a foul hooked Sturgeon.

I remember coming across a massive dead one on the south side of block years ago. It surprised the hell outta me, because I thought up to that point that they were strictly a fresh water river fish...
And a foul - hooked ANYTHING is a fight!

Spud, he got some very nice shots to document that! What hook placement! That must have been a bear to reel in.

Wasn't that catch made up in the Merrimack River and not PJ? At least that's what the Surfland post on Facebook with the same images indicates.
