Exactly. A most disappointing beach season size-wise. And I am not dinking around with small fish lures, tackle, or areas.

 | Good on you for the honest measurement. On Instagram that would have been a 30lb fish. |

Typically one would say...."This story is worthless without pictures"

However, in this situation, .....These pictures NEED a story!!!
The colors on those fish don't look aged, fresh actually...not thinking you picked those up along the shore by chance... |

 1. Hope this Picture Thread would take off for John and this site with other contributors.
 2. These are brown sharks; they are more of a nuisance every year during these hot weather months. Usually you get your plug back with these incidences. Not at all true with seal encounters percentage wise.
 3. Picture here is a typical seal encounter (and yes, I did get my plug back this time). June, Truro. Seals really suck.

				 | Put out of Westport this morning....plenty of bait scattered throughout the shoreline, put-puttdd along the shoreline to MichaumPt, .... ....from there I shot out to the islands... ...then stopped at the reef to jig for a bit before heading over to LC for a look-see,..
No sign of Charlie . ...but unless I'm mistaken, I think I had a Goose sighting!!

Couldn't get away from these buggers though.... |

It’s commercial sized… looks about 12 inches. Only 99.9 pounds to go before you limit out! 😂 |
