Merry Christmas to all my S-B friends! And a happy New Year! Can't wait to put 2024 in the rear view mirror....
I am good, resting at home. Yesterday I got a call telling me I needed to come into MGH. ASAP.... The CT scan I had on Saturday revealed that the pneumothorax had come back and grown. They had to insert a chest drain and that is a procedure I could do without going through again. The drain is restricting the front but the pigtail in the lung and chest cavity is uncomfortable below my shoulder blade in the back... But breathing easily now. I just hope it doesn't mean a reset on the 45 day recovery projection, but it is what it will be. Dani has been a God send taking care of me. And her mother. And working full time. She just shut down at 1:15pm on Christmas Eve... So laying low for the immediate future here.
Paul Iemma, wishing you a good holiday week ahead of your rebuild!
