Solo talking
Most of the time I fish alone. I enjoy the solitude of the night tides. I do, however, find myself talking outloud:
"Last cast. This is it, last cast."
"Come on bass. Where are you?"
"Fricking weed."
"Bump"
"Pick up.............come on take it."
'Skunk get on out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
But how about the talking that goes on when I've finally tied into a good one..........

Every now and then a voice pops in and says "go to spot X" sometimes I listen, I think I should listen more...
Also I talk to the fish sometimes... One night in late oct/early Nov, a real nice fat Bass ~keepr sized or so not huge but nice looking fish was just out a reach on the Ctown breach, it was nasty, out going and basically hell trying to get down... finally got close... fish went into a crack in the rocks... tried for 20 min to free her, got soaked, and and to cut the line... times like that I find my self apolozing to the fish.... also I have a habit of whispering thanks to every bass I release... kinda some wierd ritual I have....

Paying homage to a great thing, something we should all practice. I know that i should. What can I give back to the sea after taking so much?

I have said stuff like that as well. Sometimes you see some amazingly beautiful things out there. (sunsets, shotting stars all kinds of stuff)
