Someday Salty, someday, I'll have the guts to pick up the wand again. Still have painful memories of a hook through the finger incident. This time it will be a saltwater hook and It will be in the leg

I'm ready to climb out of my skin. I can't wait till the schoolies hit Boston harbor so I can get the boat out and give the fly a shot.

I just got back from Florida where I went after some Red Drum. I thought getting those fish would get me through the next month, but the good fishing and great weather just made me more crazy.

Till the bass hit the harbor, I'll be hitting the Rhody and Cape surf with conventional gear. Better get organized, we are thankfully running out of time.

Saltydog,

Bill C will be back, er, soon. He has been working major hours for the last 6 months (We work 100 feet apart but we've both been so stinkin' busy we hardly talk)

You mean THE BillC... the MIA BillC... does he still hit the MSBA meetings? I was hoping to fish with him a couple times this season.

I've been meaning to get back to the meetings. I'm pretty mad I missed wednesday night... that guy was pretty funny last year. I just didn't think about it. I didn't get back until Tuesday, so I was kinda out of sync.

I guess I'll shoot for April.

Yup, the one and only. He'll be a shore fisherman 'til June beacuse the 8 foot high snow mound has solidified and is blocking in the boat behind the garage - completely non-accessible...
