Isn't that where they were doing the Shore fishing for mako Shark? There is an earlier thread that showed it...it looked awesome.

Not to chage the subject but.... you might want to consider hunting this time of year. It's open season on Panters down there.

My girlfriends dad live on Padre Island, and the fishing there is awesome...
When I'm there I hunt seatrout (weakfish) becasue I can hardly find them up here....

When I'm there I just go to the local tackleshop and start asking questions....

Im going there in March

Eben - I bet you the cocahoe minnows would work well down there for the seatrouts.

Oh...... now your talking! Everyone down there has a car headlight mounted inside a cinderblock under their dock.... so at night, what I was doing was taking a bunch of grashshrimp that I neted in the say and throw handfulls over the light.... It was like ringing the dinner bell... dozens of weakfish would swarm in and feast on these shrimp, and I caught one after another after another..... I think I even impressed the locals, but they didnt see me chumming
I can still taste those little suckers rolled in pancake mix and sautayed in butter........
