Thumbs up MDA Thanks

Jim McKeough and I would like to thank the members of Striped-Bass.com for their participation in the MDA tournament this past weekend.

Fortunately, every club caught fish during the tournament. We will be posting the results on the Weekapaug Bait & Tackle site by weeks end.

Once again, thank you for your support to this fine cause. We look forward to seeing the Striped-Bass.com contingent next year.

Any comments or ideas for next year would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim McKeough and Don Michaud

Hi Don, this is the first one I have fished (CT. Surfcasters) and I was surprised by the turn out of guys at the breakfast.

We could have had more weight but another one of our first time club members had quite a few blues up to 31" before we even knew he was there! He let them all go, but he didn't know.

It's for a good cause and it was fun to get up to RI. and catch some fish. I hope I will be able to attend and fish the whole weekend next year! According to my fishing partner who has been doing this tourney all along....he said this is by far the best showing that the CSA ever had so he was pretty pumped .

All I know is when we weighed in our batch of fish on Saturday night you didn't have anymore bait But that didn't stop us from fishing into Sunday.

Take it easy,
JohnS

Re: Bait

John S:
Sorry about the lack of bait on Saturday...freezers and eel tank were full on Friday. We did not expect that many bait fishermen. Next year we will make sure to get deliveries on Saturday also. It was hard to judge, seeing it was the end of the year.

Glad you had a good time. See you next year.

John R/Tattoo:
Thanks:
Went to the orthopedic surgeon yesturday. Looks like it may be a tear in the cartilage or torn ligaments...rest and exercise for a week, if no decent progress, an MRI to determine if the cartlidge is torn. If the cartildge is torn that will require surgery.

Yes Tattoo, she really took drag...what a screamer LOL. Tough holding on it was a good ride.
