MS Internet Exploror problems ????

I was on the pc yesterday morning and started having problem w/ my regular pc.

I can log into my isp, BUT I keep getting this screen that tells me
"Microsoft Inernet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience."

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.

We have created an error report that you can send to help us improve Microsoft Internet Explorer. We will tread this report as confidential and anonymous.

To see what data this error report contains, click here.

There is a check box to restart MS Internet Explorer.

Another two boxes to check: send error report, or don't send.

----------------------------------------------------------------
I tried all combinations and I can't get this thing to go away and hence I can't get online on my ol' P400 pc....... HELP! I'm using an even older machine now to post this.

Not sure what this is, but I can't fix it. Virus? WFT.....LOL. ?@#$

TIA, puter gurus!

perhaps

your using an old version of internet explorer -> ie 6.0 is out now. i'd download it and retry. many times error messages
dont really tell you the real story leaving you scratching your head muttering. if you create a folder on your desktop called downloads it (the set up file) will go in there by default.

Arrow you could do this

hit start > find > files and folders > named: ie6setup.exe

and try re installing your browser all together or you can use the "wild card" search method as in substituting the asterisk
for anything you cant remember : for example if you want to find all of your "executables" or .exe files you do the same as before mentioned like so-> search for *.exe and every exe file will pop up.
