Quonnie (or any other ideas) tonight?

Well, I just arranged to take the day off tomorrow, so my friend Woody and I will hit the beaches somewhere on the South Shore tonight.

How crowded will Quonnie be on a Thursday night? Does anyone know when the tide will be going out there? Alternate spots are Watch Hill/Naps.

Any info is appreciated.

The drop should start between 11pm-11:30 tonight... Probably won't be too bad there as far as people go...

Also consider CB & Weekeapaug Point....

Actually the outflow from the pond should start around 10:00pm if Pt Judith high is 7:47pm. I'll bet you will find no fewer than 6-8 people there. It's supposed to be a 15-20mph SW wind tonight, I would be hard pressed not to fish Napatree for the whole drop.
If you do go make sure you fish the end in the rocks I see so many people that say they fished Napatree but they never get off the beach.

Jeff - SSHHH, just the other day someone PM'd me to ask why all the locals stopped at the end of the beach to fish.... Was it truly a better spot? ssshhh!!!

Nice weather like this? in November? Tide at 11pm at quannie! Fahgetaboutit!! The place will be loaded with yahoos!! In the fall it does not matter what time it is, if its night and a tide is droping,That place will have other fisherman.

Southwest wind! Jeff is right on! Napatree is the place to go.My monster came from there in the exact same conditions!! Screamin SW Droping tide=Big bass at the "nap's" Fish will be right at your feet!

Quonnie

I hit Quonnie last night for a while....The strong SW wind kept people away, I was the only one fishing the East Jetty, there were 2 guys fishing the west Jetty...I was there after 1230am sometime...
