This seasons anticipation

Went for a ride this afternoon with my Son and Father in law to Beavertail. I came around the point near the lighthouse and there was a guy standing down on the rocks with a rod in hand. Cold blustery afternoon but he was out there throwing his 2 oz atom popper. Looked like the late fall all over again. Probably a tourist but who cares, cant wait for the season to start all over again.

Yeah the water over here in Narragansett has looked mighty fine. Sea ducks are starting to raft up and head out--bound for the good old arctic tunda to do a little breeding. Better them than me. But every time I looked into the water my imagination started ticking and clicking, making me all giddy inside.
