Cuttyhunk Popper
Anybody have one they can post a picture of?
I was talking with a friend of mine on the phone, his grandfather, a talented woodworker, rodbuilder, and plug builder, anyway, my friend was telling me his gramps is working on recreating the Cuttyhunk Popper, and that his gramps was telling him on the phone he is sure he's got it down. His gramps also wants me to stop in and see him... next time I'm going thru New Bedford, to give me some plug pointers... which won't be in the near future...but, I don't have a clue, what a C-hunk popper is???
So... Whats a Cuttyhunk Popper look like? Anybody??
I tried to do a search but NADA....

Thanks VB... I'll have to have a look at what Grampa Ray has done... Did that cast well? Looks to me like I'd want to but some weight in the arse to get it out there...

I remember when!!!!!
Anybody making them?
Used to pop em along the face of the rip. No not that rip, the one under the funny lite. They work great and give you a much greater thrill than towing their dumb sister along on wire.
If you are really good with your thumb you can pop em in the moonlite.
Anybody making em, please contact me. I would like to take you for a trip to test them.
