First try at spinning plugs....

The top is a 7" Surfster. The bottom is a 5" Danny. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun isn't it???
The tail taper on the top one looks good and should swim with the right sized lip.
The tail on the bottom one is too thick IMHO.

Hip, I would paint those a solid color white or Yellow
and wire them up and try them.
that way You will figure out what You need to do next.
the bottom plugs could be better shaped though
and even though You got a wide nose on the surfster.
It may be to Your likeing.'
Seems to me with that wood on the nose it should stay on top
thats My guess

Thanks for the tips. I dont have any lips so I just was winging it on the size. Do you just match the head to the lips? Can you customize lips or make your own ? I guess you can use spinnerbait blades??? I was just winging it with these two. I never used a lathe before. It wasnt too bad. How does a duplicater work?? Can one be bought for a Lathe that dosnt have one? Thanks.
