AYC/PACIFIC CYPRESS sizes
Hi Guys,
When you guys are building plugs that are thicker then about 1 1/2 " , what size AYC/PACIFIC CYPRESS spindles are you using ?
Are you using 4" X 4" 's ? What is a 4" X 4" 's actual measurement ?
Is there a size between 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 ?
Thanks

I use 2" x 2" as do most of the folks here I believe, and if you are spinning plugs that have a finished width of 1 1/2" that should be great for you. Less wood you are gonna have to hog off!

there's no stock between 11/2x11/2 balasters and 4x4's..so when doing something like a surfster, u need to cut down a 4x4 into 13/4x13/4 for the right size..surfster's finished r like 19/16 which u won't get out of a 11/2 pc.
