We only stayed until 1:30 Sat but did see a lot of friends. Would like to have gone again on Sunday to help out at Johns table but had too much going on today. Smokey and I had a lot of fun. Saw the nicest 2-5 oz 10 foot canal rod blank I've ever seen as well as a great 1-4oz 11 foot rod blank. Both by Ziplex. definitely going to build myself a new rod on that 10 foot blank for ditch jigging this season. really awesome. Will be posting more on that later.

Thumbs up

It was a good time. I saw many familiar faces and met a few new ones too. It was good to get psyched up for the upcoming season listening to the speakers. Crazy Al has me thinking of going up in line size for my braid, I really want to target some bigger fish this year.
There was so much striped bass stuff in one room, I can't believe bassmaster didn't have a stroke

good luck to the raffle entrants for all the raffles.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I enjoyed the show this year especialy the presentations. You can tell by the tone in their voices that they are passionate in what they do and have proven they practice what they preach.
Good to see and meet some new s-b heads.

Went to the show today and had a great time. Got to meet and talk with alot of people. Had a great time. I have to agree with Saltheart on the 10' zziplex. What an awesome stick, I gotta have one of those. The Skins bags are great too. My want to buy list just got a little bigger.

I hate living in an apt. I gotta enroll into a runiversity soon. Oh well.

Bassman18 bought a colorful mack popper from Salty. I should have bought some of Salty's blue swimmers, needlefish, poppers for herring run....
I ran into Gene Borque. I didn't have anything good to talk to him. He knew who I was by judging my hearing and shouted at me by my name.

Plus, Ron Arra autographed his article and gave it to me. I wasn't expecting it.

Red face Tired....sleep now!

Added up my hours for the weekend.....39 hours, almost all of them on my feet or running up and down stairs. Great to see all of the members that I did get to meet and I am sorry I missed those that I was not fortunate enough to bump into. Thanks for coming to the show, I hope you all enjoyed it. The membership volunteers that were there worked tremendously hard all weekend to make it a great show. Must get sleep now!

Goodnight BasicPatrick!

JohnR...
I stopped by the S-B booth a few times, that must have been one looooong wzzzzzzzzz....

Didn't really meet many new members....met Flaptail briefly, we were both trying to Relieve Slipknot from the S-B booth to get our hands on a certain piece of wood ...didn't work though, Bruce is a tough man to fool.
I think I seen ChrisL....not sure though, cuz the guy I saw had extremely long hair, and I think ChrisL is bald like the Bomba twins right?
Fishweewee....,,,I don't know what it is about that guy, but he ALWAYS looks like he's up to no good. I don't think it has anything to do with his activities on the site neither...
Talked to Mr. King-Ho himself,...hi Don ,,,him and Pasngas were manning the Plug-Expo Center. Great job with the plug display Don,,,,,, and MUCHO GRACIAS Pasngas, a very nice unexpected surprise.
I think I seen BigFish too, right next to a Big Fish. I think you were introducing your son to Mr. Cinto at the time, didn't want to interupt that memorable moment.
I caught the end of FishEye's show...but didn't get to say hello....Hi Mike

Wish I could have met more of ya, just to say hello.........next time I guess.

Chuck, where were ya? I thought you wuz gonna have a SuperMan booth for yourself...sorry I missed ya.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

Had a great time at the show this weekend and it was nice to finally put some faces to some of you guys. I'd like to thank Wendy from MSBA as she helped point out a few faces for me.

My son was extremely excited as he won one of the door prizes and is now the Proud owner of a #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& sea-gar in Electric blue (his 1st plug).

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& should feel good now because his plugs are officially priceless as I tried to trade just about everything w/ my son for it and he said "No Way"........Even offered up 6 packs of Yu-Gi-Oh cards and he wouldn't budge......if that doesn't prove something is priceless I don't know what does then.

Great Show, Great Time, and Hopefully a Great season of fishing.

Great show, I went twice on Saturday, first time through I caught Fisheye's show I got some rubber from GS's booth for Joisey weakfish and 100 hooks that have an eyes too small for the leader (80lb) cod rigs I planned on making up . So I've got plenty of chunk/eel/livebait hooks for the next few years .

From the words of my 5 year old. Everyone was very nice at that show. Great job!!

Bloocrab, I wished you had said hello. Sorry I missed you but yes, that was me and both of my sons talking to Charlie Cinto.

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, I must agree with you, I also saw Notaro and Fishweewee together and I thought exactly the same thing!

I got a bad case of shin splints from the weekend so I will be hangin' out here on the site most of the day. (Not that I need a case of shin splints for that because I am usually here anyway).

Bliz, you did a great job with the Plug Project first time out. Everything looked fantastic, all you guys that kicked in plugs are truely talented as well as generous. I enjoyed looking at them all very much.

Great to see Redlite on Sunday....we will be out there soon Redlite, I can't wait.

Redcrbbr and Katie, great to see you both and thanks ever so much for coming to volunteer your time. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

WHAT A BLAST THIS SHOW WAS. Just got back to “Joisey” very late last night, had a smile on my face all the way home. It was a great experience meeting so many fine people from this board and making some new friends. Special thanks to Bigfish, Patrick, Beetle & crew for their help in getting us set up. Next year Bigfish ( Mr B. buster), the practical joke will be on you, and it will be memorable I assure you, bring your camera.
JohnR it was really nice to meet ya in person, my brother Norb is looking forward to talking with you at next years show for sure. Also Bassmaster, Capesams, Newell Guy, Slipknot, Missing link and Big link, Pasngas, Tobias,Weewee, Alberto, Bliz, Eben & so many others, and last but not least #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& & his Mrs.and his 2 little Buggers.
Thanks for the hospitality and warm welcome. Looking forward to next year already. Hope everyone has a great Season

I look forward to it Tinman, nice meeting you and your Dad. Remember, it was #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& who bribed me with a plug to bust your chops! My motto is "Will bust chops for plugs"! Glad you had a great time, it was the pleasure of MSBA to have you here.
