Hey JohnR

John, sorry I missed your call, we were out pounding the water all day, and guess where, right out just off of that spot we were slinging eels the other night, so If you are definately headed that way, it would be a good bet, acres of fish down there today, all day long, alot of bass and blues 8-11lbs, so good luck buddy, hope you do well, would love to have gone, but can't even lift my arm right now, tight lines, go get them, they are there. Let us know how you did.

RE:Hey JohnR

Juls, I went there last night... I had only a couple hits, one 12-14 pound fish spit the hook on me ten feet away but I did land one very sweet 42-43" 28+ pound FAT fish <img src="/Images/biggrin.gif"><!--e7-->... I was working a fan pattern standing 50 feet to the left of the northern most boulder in that spot and at that time I was casting in 30' front of that boulder, after the fish hit and I set the hook, it starts to zig left and then zags right, trying to get in front of that boulder, I had to really horse her out of there - makes me want to find a power handle for that Calcutta 400!!! So, it was both a somewhat 2 hours of fishing and exciting all at the same time!!!

I ran into Big Mike and Chuck on the way home and I was talking to them for a while, Mike said that Pat P was slamming shoolies 25-30 inch and barely missed the 100 mark, he got like 97 or something with some blues mixed in before he had to leave for the E-board meeting... All from shore (at same spot)... Tons of super small bunker nuts running around through there as well as some small silversides or maybe very young, just born herring...wasn't sure not much light.... That whole are from Scituate to the Gut is supoosed to be red hot during the day right now and I believe it.... I'll be there at some point this weekend, certainly tomorrow night... Are you fishing Tri-State??

RE:Hey JohnR

Hey John, excellent fish, glad to hear it worked out, there is a $$it load of fish down there right now, we had most of our fish yesterday all along that area, I had a 26" fish yesterday, take me down to my backing on my spinning real, couldn't believe it, had to start the boat and go chase it, was laughing when I got it in too see how small it was, but what a power house!!!
Alot of strong fish out there right now, they were p#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g up baby bunker all over the place, ton of bait out there. Also some nice size blues we picked up pretty close to Nantasket beach, as we were coming in the fish were just crashing the shore line ther, was unbeleivable.

Sorry to say, we will not be fishing tri-state, we have clients at 5 AM and then have a free clinic on fishing on Sunday at Fore river. So is a busy weekend, and only 8 more days and we are ON VACATION!!!! Can't wait, from what I hear there are fish all over the place. BRING IT ON.

Hope your luck continues, we will be seeing ya soon.
