You'd like all of us if we were paying for the guide fee, Dave.
Lot of us (like me) lived down with you for a while and moved off for some reason or another.
I'll see you at your doorstep with a BIG bucket of herring.
Just kiddin bro...

this summer when gas goes sky high and it cost an arm and a leg to drive an suv they will soon not be as popular ..The future is uncertain the end is always near .. I think the race is feeling the suv craze along with others like Duxbury .. Tar the beaches and put in traffic lights ..No tire tracks for plovers .. 50 lb. fish suc to catch ! like dragging in a tire.. thats why I don't fish there ..

I know Dave,
It was just a joke.
Can't figure out why you're so mad about saturday, though. Seemed to me almost everybody in line was either a camper or fisherman. Didn't really see any newbies.
Later,
Rick

Rick ,Im glad You know it was a Joke.
have alot of friends come here that I cant wait to see........
see My Point is
I have My sticker for the point........
Ya with Me.......
now I rather be quiet about it and not start a stampede and I dont care what others have to say about it the net gets things going sticker crazy...
but this whats Ya number crap just adds fuel to the fire
Look what i do.....
I lay low and it costs Me doe but thats just how it is here.....
I hide and do what I have to do....
Im old school
sorry Big Fish, But im really to lazy to bust out pics of me as a kid in the 60s fishin the Cape 45
in from My house.......
so I guess My point is this along with herring spots and other stuff should be left off the boards
come here respect the locals and the sands,
Have fun and come do it again.
look stickers go on sale the 10th and the gates open the 15th
no matter what day it is.
there are a ton of lurkers , they see this and its traffic jam

Admitted, admitted.
Line was a mess...I know you're always there for help good time or bad.
What about next year, what if the rangers figure out how to sell 3000 permits in one day, we'll be all skunked???
Don't know where they all came from, hoping not from here.
Anyhow, see you on the sand, hopin slip gets his.
Sure he will,
Later Dave,
Rick

Yeah, he generously gave me a nice needlefish and an awesome darter last summer, ran into him at the Race one day. I will be repaying the favor next time I see him there. If I get some of these plugs done!

I ended up getting my permit this morning but the best part of the weekend was having a great bonding getaway with my son AND picking up the makings for a nice rod with a Lami 1201L from M&D!

Well - I'm glad to see the net didn't burn these stickers
Seriously, I'm medicated right now and have no valuable input on this thread...

green with envy
I got my sticker today. 5 hours in line and I was in the 1st 200.
Saw lot of out-of-staters. I asked one how he heard about RP, and he said he chartered with Bassmaster Dave last year and liked it so much he called all his friends in Jersey and told them about it ( kidding Dave).

Slow going...
So, they are not even averaging 500 per day? So much for their computer data base. It would appear it has not improved efficiency much.
Anyone get theirs late in the day? Self contained perhaps... I am trying to figure out if this mad rush is going to limit the amount of self contained vehicles on the beach this year. Anyone permit one of those? Permit number?
I would venture a guess that they have not topped #125 yet.
