I'd rather use waders and hope they don't leak to stay dry
Besides, if I need to climb my fat a$$ up there, they're going to need a thicker stick and a remote

That is wild. Looks like you swim out to and shimmy up the stick. I wonder if they use vanStalls?

Seen them do something similar in Vietnam. I was told they did it because of sharks in the water too. In fresh water, they do it to keep the leeches off.
They'll sit perched on them things for quite a while too. In Vietnam, they also climb those skinny limbs to rig big huge drop nets.

Not to take anything away from those guys, but that water is probably 84 degrees, & they are safer on those poles that walking around in shark infested waters. But then again they have to make it BACK to the beach with a net full of bleeding fish so that might be kinda tricky. Otherwise it looks like fun.

SHARKS
If they are doing that to avoid sharks, I would suggest a bigger stick.
