Any junk Garmin GPS
Hey anyone looking to get rid of a junk GPS, I need the female antenna connector from the back of a Garmin. Garmin will not sell the part

You should be able to pick one up at any marine electonics shop, AFAIK they are not a proprietary item.

Mako, I am talking about the end that is on the back of the GPS for the antenna cable to mount too. I can buy these?? Should I expect West marine to carry something like this? I went to a Radio shack and they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Sorry to interject. on that..
Anyway a friend had the same issue with the connector on the back of the unit, he could not find any replacement part, so he sent it back to Garmin. I think they lost it and had to give him a new one !!! Lucky Guy..

West marine isn't going to have them, nor would boats U.S., you need a place that does marine electronics repairs, like the guy on Rte 108 in Narragansett, whose name I can't remember
AFAIK= as far as I know
