Rhody Night Fishing

Anyone from Rhody been out fishing at night and had success without herring?
No spots wanted - just curious about the night bite. I've been remodeling and I have yet to wet a line.....

I was out last night. There were tons of baby squid and minnows around. There was something chasing the bait , and jumping near the surface. I tried a few lures with no hookups though. I think they may have been herring.

Joe, I fished a night last weekend, got nothing. A few hours before I got there, there was a lot of action. I think the main bite has still been in daylight due to the water temp. Night should be picking up very soooon.

You don't need herring. The Gags plugs have been doing just fine at nite.

I still didn't manage to land a jointed for the Plug Project as a result!...

The whole gag was a dismal failure!

If anyone should be laughing... it should be Mr. Habs!

I gave him a lovely parting gift from png for being such a fine contestant on "this Plug Aint Right!"...

I have a better chance of seeing God than I do of ever seeing another Habs creation!
