South Cape Beach Question?

On the incoming tide am I correct in assuming the water flow is from left to right? And naturally the out going is from right to left correct? I have only been there a couple of times and I wasn't sure exactly at what point the tide was at, but the water was moving quite fast to the right. Also, is it worth the walk to the jetty? Thank you for any replies ahead of time.

You asking about south cape or the mashpee town beach with the paved lot next to it.Have been there when water was hardly moving no matter what point tide was at and other times couldnt hold bottom with 5 oz weight. Some times no seaweed and others bring in 50 lbs per cast. Have seen it crashing surf and others flat calm like pond.Havent seen all that many stripers of any size taken but nice for blues especially in late fall.Great for sharks on hot summer nights july and august.Great place to take kids when doing Dad duty on weekends.used to take kids and cookout and fish but watch current if they go in water.Never walked to jettys.Have caught fish on every kind of bait-plug and lure it just depends on day.lots of crabs there too if you fish the bottom
