Hey, Dave, nothin' wrong with that as long as it works.

Me and a buddy are using sandworms on a thill float with 10# test to get tog up to double digits wading off a bar

If it works, it works.

The tog wading thingie is strictly a catch-and-fillet fishery for us.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

There is no law in the books that says Dave is playing with a full deck. Maybe........2 french fries short of a happy meal?
