Weird Fishing Story

According to the Wichita Eagle newspaper, a guy spotted this catfish (see picture) with a child's ball (like a basketball) in its mouth. The fish is struggling, trying to dive, but the inflated ball keeps bringing the fish to the surface.

He got a hold of the fish and tried to remove the ball but just kept lifting the fish out of the water. Finally his wife brought him a knife and after deflating the ball, it could be removed, and the fish swam away.

I wonder if stripers will hit basketballs?

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

A good deed was done for a catfish.

ive seen large mouth bass hit the tennis balls people throw for their dogs. thinking of putting a hook through one!

If I don't have anything to do with the water, It ain't worth doing.
