Macojoe,

I think you took the law into your own hands, and dispensed your own brand of justice. While others may say you let this guy off easy, I am sure that he did not get off easy as you made him pretty damn nervous and everything.

I hope that your brand of justice will deter this young man from committing further grevious acts of injustice.

And I think you should have asked for more, maybe demanded that he do some lawn work for you for the time and hassle of resolving this matter.

Might want to see about filing a complaint with no charges just to make sure if this happens again with these "kids" they wil get their comeuppence.

Something in their "permanent record"

Or, have them work for you to do your end of season maintenance on the boat.
wax the hull whatever.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

I have made a police report when the stuff got stolen and I also called them this morning to tell them that all was recovered, and gave them the name of the 2 persons involed.

I hope they have learned??? And I hope I wasn't to easy???

Well its all over now. Thanks guys for all your support!! Now I have to go install the new switch panel, and wires for the new chart plotter!!
