they are not here yet

Hi john, just thought I would let ya know, we fished the Cape again yesterday. We hit Cotuit area's in the AM. No fish, or bait, water temp is still very cool. Then we went to the Agawam and Onset. No fish anywhere to be found. There is some bait in the Agawam river, but I still believe the fish they are getting there from time to time are definately hold over fish. Some reports I have heard are that they are fresh fish, well I caught 4 fish the other day and they definately were not fresh fish, I really think we have a couple more weeks to go before these fresh fish start moving in. We definatley need some of those southern winds to get the ball rolling

Bad news indeed, Fisherwoman. We who fish in Maine are a few weeks behind you. Memorial Day is starting to look more realistic, and that's two weeks later than I would have hoped. Keep us advised.

Will do marty, things are not looking to be on schedule this year, having major striper withdrawl, hoping they come in by next week, have to go in for shoulder surgery on the 12th, not good, need some tight lines right away!!!!! It will be a long summer if I don't get some of this fishing in before. But my better half will be doing some major fishing for me so we will keep you posted.

The fish have been hanging out with our southern fellows for too long now! Rhody is still spotty but is getting fresh fish, but this weather is holding us back. Still hitting the shores this weekend...
