3 years now, I started with BM and we learned fast, although he had made some poppers back in the 90's or 80's.

I got some BM needles that he made in the (I think he said)
eighties.... they don't look like what he makes now!

About 3 years for me. When I started there was one board and about 12-15 basement builders that had been doing it for a while before I got there (Fixter,BM, Jenty, Charlie M, Krispy, Guzz, Jigman, Mr. Pogie, Basshol, EP,Rattboy, 10 x 10 and a few others). I can't believe how this has caught on.

I am a carpenter and have over 20 years in the trade. So working with the tools comes second nature.

Started making plugs around 3 1/2-4 years ago. First couple were actually hand carved Started tying flies, then moved on to jigs, spinnerbaits, etc. That all started around 25 years ago.

Made my first back in 1980. A wood rasp, various files, a palm sander, mitre saw and lots of hardwood dowels. I still have the first one, a white darter with screw eyes for hook holders.

Why even try.........

Yup I was there .. what was left of me . lost brain late 60's early 70's.. this is one of my early "Barter Town Hopkins".. I think I remember u .. grouchy bastage.. Sometimes we just put the foil from our cigarette pack on a hook and jig that off the pier ... catches macks too .. I swapped out hook .. u wouldn't believe what I had on there..
