Cool

One thing you might want to try next time you head out and keep a few (or more than few ) blues...

Try bleeding them in a bucket the minute they are caught. Take your knife and cut the gills and place head down in a bucket (away from dirt, etc). Then, gut them and ice them as soon as you can, the flavor will be vastly improved.

Personally, I fish and hunt for the meat, thats it! Couldn't care less about the "sport" of it all. I'll take a doe over a huge rack any day if given the chance. I have better things to do then spending my precious time to just c&r. Nothing against the "sport" of things but my tummy comes first As long as nothing get wasted and its taken legally, enjoy.

I am jealous. I would love to limit out on blues.

I have not seen anywhere that blues are becoming endangered. With Bluefish, if I am where I can easily tote them to the car, I will keep 'em and eat 'em or freeze 'em for later.

Keep lines wet and tight in the pacific
