Brewster

I am heading to Oceans Edge in Brewster this weekend for the annual company outing. Never been to Brewster.

Any fishable places on or near the grounds of the hotel?

Thanks,
BN

I had a box of animal crackers the other day. The box said 'do not eat if seal is broken.' I opened the box, the lion was OK, the elephant was OK, sure enough, the darn seal was broken.

Wink

this burning of spots, must stop

Bass Nut, there are plenty of spots nearby, any road on the North side of 6A in Brewster, that ends in Landing, will get you to the bayside, CS gave U the best time of tides and bait of choice.

Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't worry about spot burning, I have a habit of getting skunked... often

If anything, photos will be posted with a Mt Fuji backdrop...

If you do fish there you can wade out at low tide and cast sluggos or flycast to cruising bass. Check the Cape Cod Guidebook for town landings that happen to be near salt creek openings. Low tides are in the am so you can do it. Get out at dawn ( if not foggy) and follow the tide out to the edge and fish your way out and back. The tide is low over there at just before nine am on Saturday. Remember that the tide rises and falls six inches every 15 minutes on the bay side and is a nine footer. You can go 3/4 out as the tide falls. As soon as you know it's coming in so should you. A small compass in the pocket is a big help if you get caught in a fog out there. All clear white sand and lately lots of bass. Have fun.

Why even try.........

Go to the end of the nature walk on the deck they have there...

There are MANY places to fish around there!

It's a great place to stay!

I will be in meetings all day on Saturday and Sunday so I'll be hitting the incoming tide on Saturday night after dinner.

Go where Bliz says, a couple of nice holes there if you get them to yourself.
