Which 10 plugs ?

In your opinion (it's a hard question), what would you put in your bag for stripers if you had only ten slots ?
Don't take into account the fact that some plugs are "hot" to get, just name your ideal fishing bag.
Ignore the sea, the weather, just imagine you only have 10 plugs for your wole season. And that your only rod can handle all of them. What would your choice be ?
(Personnaly, I own a lot (hundreds ?), but I realize that I always end fishing with the same stuff...

Cool

That's a good start !
Noboby has put a single "tin" in his bag yet (Kastmasters,...).
Noboby has put a plug under 1 ounce (which is an upper average for France, IMO)
During my august vacation in RI, apart from a slow-sinking 1.5 Oz French custom plug (check http://orionlure.free.fr/leurres.html), my most successful one was fully made of metal :

Charlie Graves are tins. There are many styles but that solid bunker one is my favorite. It's alot easier to pick one instead of 10!In that case it would be a bucktail. If I use a single row bag, I pack it like a double. If it's my Coastal bag then I'll need a hand truck. Thank God for Winter! I need it just to get my spine back in place.

Sorry for that lack of American Fishing culture ;-)
And I understand what you mean when you say it's easyer to pick one than 10.
Same opinion about packing a single box : I tried to fill in as much stuff as I could before flying to RI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But let's try to follow the initial rules.
An intersesting other one would be : which only plug would you take for all year long fishing. Even harder !!!

A few answers to the many questions coming up from this thread...

If I only had one of anything to survive on (the old desert island and survival thing not for sporting purposes but for variety and I have to catch to live)

...2 oz bucktail (white)

If I could only fish one plug all year...7" black Mambo Minnow
------this just wins out over 5" Storm in bunker

As far as filling a bag is concerned that is a tough one...I like to fill one bag for days and one for nights...

I also don't count the tin when filling slots as most bags have separate tin slots...

that all being said...I am about to fill my Bag for this weekend...if I could only take one bag with 10 slots...here it is...

I am using my Large Aquaskinz Surf Bag

1. 1 2.5oz Guppy Pencil (Rainbow Herring)
2. 1 Super Strike Polaris (Pink/White) &
.................1 1.5oz Gibbs Polaris (Bunker) (1 slot)
3. 2 2.5oz HabsNeedles(Pink & Chrcoal w/red eye)
................(1slot)
4. 1 BM Needle (Black), 1 Habs Stubby (Pink), 1 Habs Stubby(White)(1slot)
5. 1 Tattoo Spook (White)
6. 1 BM Danny (Yellow)
7. 2 7" Bombers (Blurple & Olive/silver)
8. 2 7" Mambo Minnows (Black & Parrot)(1slot)
9. 2 Super Strike Darters (Blurple & Parrot)(1 slot)
10. 1 3oz Tatoo Darter (Pink Mack)

Top Flap Pocket has 3 5" Tsunami Shad (Bunker) & 3 6" Storm shad (Bunker)

1 side pocket has jar of Red & White Pork Rind

(Jig & tin slots hold)...1 2.5oz Hopkins w/ Bucktail...1 2.5oz Hopkins w/red tube...1 3oz Kastmaster w/bucktail...1 Graves Bunker w/hackle...1 2oz Spro white Jig...1 2oz Spro Chartreuse & white jig...1 3oz Smilin bill
