any reports of macs in and around Beverly/Salem harbors? Been getting some in Gloucester but nothing like last year.

Beverly/Salem Harbor
The Macs are there. I'v been doing a bunch of "plug testing" at the docks at the end of Bridge Street on the Beverly side. Always see a few. Salem Harbor has had birdsd working over them the past few days as well. Check the Danvers River. They're probably up in there too.

nope, and i dragged two of them from nahant, all the way to hull.
no signs of life out there, accept the cormarants stacked up buy the thousands outside graves.

mike put them dowm on the bottom with a 8 or 10 oz weight with a fishfinder out past the b-bouy in about 90 feet or so large cod bass or maybe a charlie like last year pete

Baiting was slow this year, so i still got about 200 lbs whole and ground, in the freezer, plus about another 50-75 lbs in my buddy's freezer.

not today. needed at least 16-18.
i couldn't make it out that far, too windy.  and i had to be home to work on the hunny-do list.
i came bye the shop, but you were out. no macks for u.

I remember fishing for them in California as a kid. We would use light tackle and had a ball.
