Saw them this morning before sunrise, pretty cool with Jupiter, Venus and a sliver of the moon lined up in the opposite sky

Saw the lights at Block on Monday night - they lasted from 7pm until I quit casting at 2am. The "absolute best I've ever seen" -red and purple hues, solar wind pulses, at times I would take a break from casting and lie on a flat rock and gaze towards the heavens. They were the highlight of my trip (along with a killer sunset the very next night). Fishing was on the slow side out there - had to work for every bass, a few nice ones.
