Friday Cod Report

I conducted a shared charter today aboard RELENTLESS with Mike Medieros, Portsmouth, RI, Dave Holmes and Joe Nolan, Norfolk, MA and Chuck Devyust from Franklin, MA. The fishng started slow with all of the gillnets in the area and being at the bottem of the tide. Patiance once again paid off and these guys got into them good with Chuck landing the largest of the day. What a great bunch of guys, I hope to see them aboard RELENTLESS again in the future.I have another trip on Sunday and hopefully the weather will settle down. God, life is good.

Have a great weekend and I wish everyone tight lines,

Respectfully,

Captain Dave Waldrip

Nice going Dave, Good to see that all the gillnets hasn't slowed you down...at least for now.

Great pics Dave!!!
I started out late today,
but when I got there got into some huge fish !
But not long after you headed in the wind picked up and the drift was way too fast and the fishing slowed down
Real tough trying to fish by you're self with the winds blowing and trying to control the boat in trafic and jig at the same time

Capt. Dave-

That was a great ride on the Relentless. First lesson in Cod 101 was a success. My arms are tired!
Please check the single hook jigs. I bent the hook. Must have been on the big one that got away.
