first batch for 2004

I havent made a plug since last year so i figured needles would be good excercise to start off with... after these its darters, and once i do a bunch of darters its Pikie time

these needles are made from rock maple and since my airbrush wasnt cleaned properly last time i used it I used rattle cans. Enviro-tex clearcoat on top. Test swam one and had a heart attack I was so happy with it.

Eben, my favorite color

Hey, will ya trade for some hand-carved tog floats?

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Great Job!!!
did you add the glitter with the paint, or is it in the epoxy?

youngsalt, I sprayed the paint on and had the glitter ready to sprinkle before the paint dried. I have also had great results mixing fine glitter with epoxy and painted it on before the clearcoat. the glitter will 'float' above the paint.
