Talking Felt Good To Bend A Rod

Well... Sorry Eben, but Dave (Fishaholic18) and I sniffed out your spot . But never fear... your secret is safe with us. I mean that, I have no intentions of burning your spot... I'm not even sure I could get there again anyway . Here are some pics with the evidence blurred out to protect the innocent and such. Really made my week though.

here's another shot.. these pics were taken with Daves camera phone so they do exhibit a certain measure of suck. We had a blast 14 fish between us.

Dave, remember the goal...A bass every month.
We'll have to break out our mittens.

Congrats, a bass a month is a very realistic goal, one I've maintained since I first started fishing the Thames so many years back. Last year was close, but usually the ice doesn't keep us out for an entire month.

We were both using Batson SW1088's. The 1087 would have been better for the light stuff we were throwing, but we managed.

Ya hit 'em again eh Dave

- Flyrodguy - ya gotta put your time in or... as was our case... use a ridiculous process of elimination to rob someones spot . Since it is not ours, we can't give it up. There are lots of other spots that give up fish all winter. Read your back issues of OTW and the fisherman and you'll see that there are quite a few known spots.
