problems?

has anyone had any problems caused by wood dust in the basement? just curious, i noticed how much that there actually is in my basement this weekend. i believe i have become a full blown addict!

yes... shavings will collect moisture, which in turn will collect mold... ask me how i know

If you have a vac and a clamp put hose behind your workpeice,,, sucks listening to the vac ,, but when you see the dust going to a point and going in the hose you know its worth it ..especially while sanding on the lathe ..
