Good article about the restoration and dredging of the salt ponds in south county in the providence journal today. Gonna restore a herring run too, cant wait to fish there in the spring in another 6-8 years . They had a good site too that has the characteristics of the bottom of the salt ponds w/photos of the different areas, Heres a few pix from the site.
