First Blood ....

This is the first darter I ever made ,, I don't know if I'm sticking with these jigs but its a start .. traced my favirote darter (ifshvermont) and free hand on the band saw ,,clean up to the line with a belt sander ..

Top jig is a sled to hold plug while cutting on the band saw .. Bottom jig just holds the blank so I can get a 90 degree hole in it ..

Cool jigs Tagger and that darter should serve you well. I'm by no means a darter specialist (Im a newby actually) but it looks like it should swim, well...swimminly

Nice tagger.. now tell us. was it really that hard?? I like that jig..

Like flukinUki, I am new to darters, but looking at yours it will swim well. what wood did you use?

Hard Maple. I don't know if this things going to come in upside down .. ??? looks like a darter...is it a darter.. I don't know .. thanks for the words of encouragement ..
