Harbor lack there of report!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, well we took the boat out today and what a great day it was to be out there, pretty much flat calm, all we managed to get were 3 tinker macs. Thats all nothing else and I do mean nothing. We started at the gut, went to the back side of peddocks, around to Georges, out to Boston light, then the brewsters, 3 1/2 fathom , out to B-Bouy, back in to Hardings, Pt Allerton, back to the airport, Kennedy library, and up inside the reserve channel. For the very few fish that we did mark on the fish finder, the most were up inside the reserve channel, all in about 40 ft of water, and wouldn't even touch the lively little macs. Thats pretty sad!!!! I really hate to say it but the fat lady is singing her song, I think you may still pick up a few fish, but with the weekend weather predicted, you can kiss those bass goodbye till spring. As for cod, we weren't really looking for any, saw a couple of guys jigging around 3 1/2 fathom and they were picking up a few, but not very big. Sorry for the downer report, we went in hopes of getting a few straglers, but thats why they call it fishing. The fish that we marked in the reserve channel were all very large fish, but they were definatley not on the feed, we were there the last 2 hours of the outgoing. Maybe better at top of the tide, who knows.

Fisherwoman, You can't say you didn't give it a bid, that's alot of water you covered. I guess this clinches it for me to take the boat out of the water. this weekend weather report ruins my plans to take some friends out for cod to bribe them into helping to take the boat out of the water when we came in. Oh well I will have to think of some other way. Does anyone know the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and can arrange a meeting for a boat hauling party?

Fisherwoman, I was out on a boat as well yesterday, but more toward Duxbury/Plymouth/Marshfield. In addition to dozens of perch and sculpin, we got two keeper cod, a pretty good size mac, a black sea bass and a pollock. We were never in more than 40 feet of wqater. I'm not that familiar with area, but we were around the orange barrel if that means anything.

Hey Frankie, maybe it was the chinese food!!!!!!
Should have chummed with it.

Mr Kav, sorry to put your plans to rest, that was not my intention. But thought you might like to know what was happening, or NOT. I did hear of alot of mackerel being caught at German town this morning from shore, but they weren't there yesterday. Would you like me to give the cheerleaders a call for ya!!!!!

Martyk, glad to here you got into some fish yesterday, its always nice having something pulling your line the other way. Maybe we should have fished for cod, but we were on a mission for sure for those last elusive cows.
