They fool fish pretty well. I have a bunch of them out on Long Island

I'll offer to test fish any of them in competition.

Great Job, i'm just finishing up a batch of surfsters myself. same size. i went with 3/0 front 2/0 middle and im putting a 3 or 4/0 in the back. i might go up a size in the middle, but they still lock up the way they are now.
was that a problem with the original creek chubs?

Don't know as it was a problem, but they could lock up. I moved the hooks out 1/4" each way from original and they can still be married. I've fished them like this though and never had it happen.
